Recommended Format for Concept Papers (PDF, 108KB)
An outline and two samples for concept papers. Sample A is for brief versions of a concept paper in which the author would provide a brief background of the project. Sample B is for longer versions of activity concept papers in which the author would provide project background, rationale, overall goals, description, learning objectives, target audiences, materials, and budget.

Collecting Stories

We are interested in documenting stories from fistula clients and providers. There are many potential uses for such stories, including:

encouraging other women awaiting treatment
training health workers
raising awareness in the community
advocacy to draw attention to fistula
inclusion in communications materials about the project

When you talk to someone to hear their story, or when you photograph them, you must obtain appropriate consent from the individual(s) involved. If you cannot obtain written consent, you should ask the subject for her consent and sign a form yourself indicating that oral consent was given.
