Use of the Partograph: Effectiveness, Training, Modifications, and Barriers (PDF, 329 KB) The purpose of the review was to identify and summarize the available literature on the use and efficacy of the partograph (including information on the attitudes of health care providers toward the partograph) and to identify and evaluate training strategies and barriers to its use.

Performance Monitoring Plan (PDF, 205KB)
The Performance Monitoring Plan is used to plan, manage, assess and report progress towards Fistula Care’s results framework for the period October 2007 to September 2012. It will be updated on an annual basis to set new benchmarks for reporting indicators in consultation with USAID.

Annual Global Workplans
Workplans for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. The workplans are organized around the results stipulated for the project and are divided into three sections: Section I describes the activities of the core staff; Section II contains summaries of each country’s activities; and Section III contains budget notes and a summary of the budget.

Quarterly Report Narrative Form

    This is an outline of how to write quarterly narrative reports. It gives guidance for four parts: overview of fistula repair service trends; overview of other surgical events; activity accomplishments by Fistula Care results; and project performance indicators.

    Instructions, indicator definitions table, complications reporting guidelines, and six forms for facilities to provide data for the quarterly reports. Forms include: Clinical indicators; fistula repair training for surgeons/physicians; training events for project site staff; community outreach and advocacy events; family planning services; and obstetric services.

An outline of protocols for reporting fistula treatment complications.  Includes definitions, assumptions, and lists of select major, minor, and long-term complications.

Death Reporting Protocol
Fistula surgery-associated death is a rare event but it has been known to occur and we have a system in place to understand what happened. This includes four documents – Protocol for investigating and reporting mortality related to fistula surgery; protocol timeline; initial fistula death investigation and reporting related to fistula treatment procedures; and detailed fistula death investigation and reporting related to fistula treatment procedures.
